Amidst killer speeds I stand

Faceing the traffic, stretching my hand

The theme of the poem is  the sense of duty and responsibility(দায়িত্ব) of a  traffic police . The poet says the life of a traffic police is in jeopardy(বিপদ/ঝুঁকি) when he is in the road. Still he performs(সম্পাদন করা) his duty with utmost(সর্বাধিক) care and sincerity(আন্তরিকতা/ অকৃত্রিমতা) . The main duty Of a traffic police is to control the movement of people and vehicles on the road.He boldly (সাহসীকতার সঙ্গে) overcomes the obstacles(বাধা/প্রতিবন্ধক)like headache,earache,noisy or dusty environment(পরিবেশ ) . He takes risk of his own life to ensure(নিশ্চিন্ত করা ) people’s safety.
